Where are the extra gold and Battlechips in express arena after the update they are gone

in Bugs and Known Issues
When you did fights in express arena you used to get 100 gold and small amount of battlechips for each fight that you did. After the update they are no longer being given out why it that? I know it's a big because there have been so many after this update.

    these are directly added to your gold/bcs now.

    That's how it has always worked in the past. Express mode was actually bugged to deliver those to the rewards stash instead of just dumping them into your currency bins, and that bug was fixed.
