Issue in Act 8.2.6 Heal sponge trap node

Hey Guys



I'm doing Act 8.2.6 Heal Sponge trap node fight

Heal Sponge trap node says that Bahamet cannot heal above his current phase threshold but he was healing above phase threshold.

I have done total 7 runs in this path with/without willpower mastery and tried different champions as well but same he was healing beyond phase threshold.

I have attached screenshot where is he healed above last phase threshold (1 to 10
%) ->18% he suppose not to heal above 10%.

As per my understanding when Attacker healing Bahamet aslo will heal but above his current phase threshold which mean he should not be healing above 18% in his last phase

Please correct me if i'm wrong in understating Heal sponge trap node

It is poorly worded.

He can still heal above the health threshold of the previous phase, but he cannot heal back into the previous phase. However, if you get KO’d he will start a fight in whatever phase his health falls in. So when it says threshold it means stepping from one phase into the next, not the value of his health bar. If you’re in phase 3 and he heals back into a phase 2 health range, he can’t re-enter phase 2 during that fight, only if you get KO’d and have to go back in.

Your explanation is 100% correct of what is currently happen with that Node.

The question is whether it is intention, as for me it feel like a bug. I got it done with Kingpin but I did experience exactly what you described.

At this point, I would say that is intended considering how long it has been since it was released with no change.

Echoing what Pikolu said. This feedback has been brought up since day 1 of 8.2’s release and has never been acknowledged as a bug. The language still works even though it can be understood both ways. At this point I would say it is intended to perform under the interpretation I gave. It would be nice if they cleaned up the wording for players surprised by the interaction though.
