Actually, I don't think the people spending on the game have anything to be ashamed of. It is the people who are getting a free game donated to them by the spenders that constantly try to denigrate spending that I think should be reflecting on their life choices.

Now in this case, they were replying to a serial forum flexer/troll, who regularly boasts their expensive roster. Making a mountain from a molehill springs to mind.

You definitely didn't say all FTP players should reflect on their life choices, but the implications of your first comment aren't much better. The poster you replied to was shaming the OP more for spamming, not just for being P2W. Whether they often shame people elsewhere for spending became irrelevant when you generalized this as a FTP vs P2W issue. If you have a problem with the poster you replied to, there are better ways of communicating that than roping every other FTP player into it. I also have a problem with the OP repeatedly posting the same "look at my roster please" posts, P2W or otherwise. Should I start rethinking my life choices?
Spenders aren't donating us anything, they're buying themselves a product. When they repeatedly flaunt that product to those who can't or choose not to buy it, that's where issues arise. Your comment would be completely fair had it not been made in the context of this post, as it just suggests that spenders should never feel shame for continuously flaunting it, but rather FTP players should rethink their life choices if they take issue with it.
