Spider side quest preview issue… map changes upon entering quest?

Hi all has anyone seen this? When previewing the map you can see the classes of defenders eg mystic boss being Spidey Supreme so that you can plan what champs to bring. Instead, as soon as you enter the quest all of the defenders change! Bug or visual display issue? Mystic boss becomes science class ie Mr Negative. Annoying if you want specific counters but it all changes and then you can’t redo without losing the entrance key item…?

    Not a bug. You can scroll on defender portrait to view which likely champs on that node.

    I bring along two skills (bleed), a cosmic (need buffs), science (HT) and mutant (Iceman). That is all.

    Sure I can understand if the defenders change but class stays the same, and I know we can preview the nodes so can always bring the counters. Fortunate to have a good roster but conscious that others may not have as deep a roster. Would appreciate some clarification from Kabam. If you preview any event quest such as thronebreaker or end game quests like ROL with hidden champs the class of champs doesn’t change

    You're a couple weeks late on this...when you preview each node you can see the possible opponents.

    It's a Random defender (from among a set pool (which can be seen scrolling thru the new Preview Left/Right buttons) .
    Just because it shows a class (probably the class of first champ in pool), doesn’t mean that is the class you get, because random is chosen at time you start quest (not preview it).

    If pool has champs of different classes, then showing the “actual” class would sometimes then tell you what champ it is too, so it wouldn’t be a random quest anymore.

    Ok cool thanks guys. I’ll have another look the next time I do a run. Didn’t seem to have the possible defenders visible at preview stage only the classes so it threw me a bit
