It’s the 7-month anniversary of the last glory store update!

Did you know that if you finish 31st in AQ, you get less t6b and t3a than you get from 2000 BG trophies? (One purchase of each at 1000 trophies).
2000 BG trophies gets you 15% of each catalyst. If you want that with glory, it’ll cost 3900 per cycle. If you score 599 million, your reward is 3400 glory, plus whatever rank rewards will net you.
Hopefully an update is around the corner but this is our grindiest game mode and now I’d put the rewards behind solo content, BGs and war. Fingers crossed for good news soon.

They don’t need to be done all at once, but if 1-2 stores could have a committed rebalancing each quarter, it would go a long way to fixing some of the obsolescence that creeps in as time passes.
In no way would this prevent other, more systemic overhauls when needed, but a regular schedule would be a welcome and beneficial change.

They upgraded the solo events and they changed the weekly event (hard to say “upgraded”).
AQ, war, loyalty, BGs…even if we got one every two months, that’d be a full cycle every 8 months. Loyalty hasn’t been touched since August, when the paragon store introduced class AGs for a million loyalty. Now they give out a class and a generic in the monthly SQ.
AQ is definitely due an update; it's the game mode that keeps alliances together and if you let BGs run away with the rewards, as it's currently the case, a lot of alliances, founded on AQ, will start to crumble.
Which would be sad.
It would be great if we can get an indicative and tough timeline for when it will be updated.
Thanks!
It’s not as communal a game mode. It doesn’t breed the same investment in each other’s participation and success.

'to the mode' in this official post means AQ.
The thread is from November '22.
I’d also like a stated rationale for how each store is intended. BGs have washed out much of the usefulness of the other stores and cuts across so many areas of the game. Loyalty, which is most in need of an update, could easily be renamed the Boost Store. Incursions is a horribly overpriced crystal store, and the Glory Store that once seemed like a bargain is now hopelessly out of step.
Is one supposed to provide rankup mats? Or are all of them? Should all of them give access to crystal shards? Or just some of them? Why can’t questing pots be acquired somewhere?
Personally, I think it makes sense for most things to be acquired across all major stores, with a few things exclusive to each based on the particular game mode. But the prices across stores should at least have some rational tether to the time spent acquiring store currency.

Also 4 day week AQ, bring it!
You keep people on in tougher times, because you have that interaction.
If people are just a BG score, it depersonalises the alliance structure.
Which does genuinely concern me.
Also, thank you @SirGamesBond , that's the post I was thinking of; more regular updates to AQ rather than 9-12 months... Posted 8 months ago!
It's silly someone can buy 20-30 t6 ISO blocks daily with 5$, but at the same time can only buy only 10 per 8 days from doing AQ, that's very unbalanced and pure bs design.
This changes to glory store should happen immediately, along with revised prices on "high end" mats (t6bc and t3a).
As an officer, I struggle to keep members doing AQ.
Our AQ ally score have dropped nearly 100mil last month, and yet we finish the same bracket of rewards, meaning most of other alliances scores have dropped either.
If Kabam keeps that "only BGs store update" route, AQ will be a dead mode very soon and AQ focused allies will die too.
After exactly six years in my ally, it's the first time I consider seriously leaving for a BGs ally, that are highly trending nowadays.
We posted 550mil running 665 with uncomplicated mods. It’s absurd that someone running map 4/5 and scoring 250mil gets the same 3400 glory we get at 550mil.
I wonder if this is an elaborate means of saving money.
Pile all the rewards into BGs (which have incredibly low complexity in terms of in game design of challenge and operation now that it's built) and slowly kill off war and AQ and any complex element of alliance management. You'd need far less people to manage BGs.
Whereas, I'm personally still hoping for an AQ revamp, but it feels like an incursion esque mothballing is on the cards. Particularly as the game has centred on prestige for so many years and the new toy, BGs, specifically discourages prestige.
6 million loyalty to get the t6/t3 catalysts for a single r4 compared to just 40,000 BG trophies.
Alliances have relied heavily on AQ as the best source of rank up materials for years. And AW as the best source of shards/champs. Our officers and alliance structures are designed for recruiting and retaining for these game modes. The prestige race heavily linked to AQ in particular.
Even personal player champion choice and mastery choice hugely changes, from champions sustainable across 10 to 20 fights, to those optimised for one.
If BG is going to be the best source for both of these going forwards and that maintaining alliances willing to do AQ is no longer remotely optimal, then you need to give some form of heads up to the player base.
Please. 🙏
You like to muse over game economy and related facets. Thoughts?
Sell it extensively in July.
Slowly give all players those resources to catch up.
Player Base catches up a little.
Bring in cyber weekend and sell more resources
Give resources during gifting to everyone.
Make spenders spend money on miniscule amount of next rare resource.
And the cycle continues.......
Glory/loyalty stores have left the building.
All we got were false promises and hope for regular mini updates.
