Do They Realize Wars That We Can't Do Are Being Counted?

So the last war we were able to complete before the mode went down, we ended in Tier 6. Days later after the mode went down, I just so happened to look and I noticed the alliance is now Tier 8.
Surely this is just a visual thing and when the mode returns, we'll be where we're supposed to be right?

Maybe if you ran them, but didn’t have many participating (or lost anyways), could have affected war rating.
no worries .. i would rather have that 3.4 multiplier more than a 3 lol but it is what it is.
The allinces lower than you won their off season wars and went higher tier than yours.
While you can get jumped here if you’re not tier 1-5, I would be extremely surprised to see a drop from tier 6 to 8 here, given the small number of wars and that since it’s off-season, war rating gains for each war are halved.
I lean more into thinking it’s a mistake or visual error.
(although as you said, at that 2nd week Friday time it just appeared to be a “stuck” enlistment failure, and only on Monday did they change the wording to show DISABLED now).
Don’t know why your previous auto-enrollment did not take place for those first 4 off-season wars.
But as for TIER, seems ever more convincing that how Kabam determines the DENOMINATOR (of the % based calculation, your WR placement compared to all other alliances) seems to be based on how many alliances actually PARTICIPATE in either the currency matchmaking war, or the most previous war.
So that when changes from in-season to off-season, and a bunch of alliances STOP doing wars for a couple weeks, that would lower the amount of alliances as the DENOMINATOR, thus lowering the # of alliances that would fall into every TIER. Thus pushing your WR-based (but also % based) Tier down lower.
I seriously hope that when off season returns next week that we aren't battling our way from Tier 22 back to Tier 6.
So all Ally's are probably all showing as Tier 22 right now (mine showing Tier 22 right now also).
While this will correct itself automatically by the time 2 week preseason is over (and actual season starts), they will (should) indeed have to manually fix it for the first war of upcoming preseason in a few days (to force the denominator to some number such as alliances who did wars as of end of last season).
**unless calc is determined upon Matchmaking phase, and not from prev war participation.
And maybe even use that method going forward (using final # of alliances at end of a season for the corse of the tier calc during whole off-season)
I just submitted a formal request to line things up with my in game name and Kabam said cool.
