Paragon criteria update

I am sooooo close to Paragon (90%) but I simply need to rank 4 one more 6-star. It seems a bit unfair though considering I have two Rank 1/25 7-Stars champions. I would hope that these 7-stars would be considered equal to rank four 6-stars someday in order to qualify for Paragon.

Not any time soon. It isn't unfair that 7* champs don't count, it would be unfair to everyone who had to rank 6* champs to rank 4 to give you a path to Paragon that doesn't require you to spend a single catalyst or rank up gem. You could just buy a bunch of crystals until you got three 7* champs and just level them up with ISO. That is a potentially easier path to Paragon now, and it will become an ever increasingly easy path in the future.

I do not see Kabam changing the requirements for Paragon to allow players to reach Paragon without ranking up any champions for a very long time, if ever.

As frustrating as it can feel sometimes, it’s just the way they have made it. You just need to crack on and put all of your resources into acquiring that title. I felt the same a few weeks ago and was frustrated, but I decided to explore 8.2 to get the title especially because July 4th was so close. I recommend doing that if you haven’t already, the quests aren’t too difficult.

Simply having a 7* definitely shouldn't count. Anyone can get a 7* and get them to 1/25. Now if you had 7* champs at R2, I could see the case for that as that would require more upgrade resources than 6* R4.

The chasm between people just crossing the line into paragon today, and those that got it a year ago, has grown so wide that I can only imagine their attention is fixed entirely on figuring out how next to separate out the player base to meaningfully target deals/content. I assume that when they entirely figure out how they’re gonna roll out R3 mats, they’ll start dropping six star R4 gems all over the place like they did with five star gems in back issues. As it is, you only have to 100% 8.1 and 8.2 to get paragon right now.

If you have a 7 star rank 2, and only have 2 star rank 4 than it's the summoner's fault for nothing caring about getting paragon. The resources to rank 2 a 7 star will cost more then to rank a 6 star to rank 4. So I don't see why you would do that if you want to get paragon. The rules was in place when it was harder to get a rank 4 so I don't feel sorry for anyone today who claims it's so hard to do it. When paragon first came out only the top whales were able to get the title right away and the majority of FTP took a long time to get enough resources to get the title.
