6* Tech R5

I'm kind of struggling with my next r5 decision. I have a 4-5 tech gem from the 4th deals, and am really struggling to decide between Fantman and Nimrod. Both are amazing. Does anyone have both at r5 and would you recomend one over the other? I threw Warlock in there for cosideration just for his utility, but I think the first 2 are more fun to play. That's not to say that I don't love Warlock, I just think the other 2 are a little more fun. I'd consider Warlock to be more reliable than the other 2, but again, the fun factor does it for me.

I also have I-Doom who would give a significant prestige bump. I'm not terribly concerned about prestige, although I have made several rank ups for prestige purposes, including my I-Doom to r4. So what's everyone's opinions on Fant vs Nimmy?

    I think Nimrod gets slept on vs non mutants. I always see people posting that he's basically only good against mutants, which I totally disagree with. While he absolutely melts 99% of mutants, he's also phenominal against the other classes as well.

    I actually took my Ant-Man to R5 over Nimrod/Warlock/Ultron

    I forgot about my Ultron. I have him as well, but use him significantly less than the above mentioned. I also have an awakened Ghost, but I'm not a huge fan of her play style.

    Nimrod is still all around the better mutant killer. Can't be crit failed by Doms or get messed up by Mags.

    Fam is really good for Havok since he doesn't deal energy damage, and is probably the second best Bishop option after iDoom. I personally think Fam is better in non mutant match ups too, and once his glancing is fixed will probably be a more annoying defender.

    I took my Fam to R4 right when I got him, over Nim at R3.

    Haha, good point. But, that's been my pic for a long time now. Way before Fantman's release.

    Fantman deals with non-mutants and any general matchup better than nimrod. Nimrod is good for those too, but fantman is easily better. He’s also the better defender and he deals with Bishop and Havok way better than Nimrod can
