Corvus Glaive
Cap America IW
Gwenpool
Blade
Sentinel

And some other too . These champs were at the top of the food chain at some point but seems like they have fallen completely outta the meta now and hardly anybody use them in any content now .

Health pools just got too high for Corvus to be used in a lot of things. Unless they drastically shorten his cooldown, he’s only good for a few things.

Apart from story content , BGs has changed the face of this game . Most people now rank up champs mostly for BGs and with the introduction of BGs , many old champs have gained their value back and many lost it too.

Cg is used in AW and AQ(not too popular after they fixed the timeout issue)
CAIW is used in all forms of content still, but players do prefer other science champs over him
Blade is used mostly in BGs
Gwenpool kinda fell out of the loop i’ll give you that
Sentinel is still a good fit for Bg defense but nimrod did replace him because of quick ramp on attack and solid option for defense

CAIW is still very much relevant. I use him regularly in almost every contents.

Cap ages like a fine wine.

    Dated? Sure.
    Outdated? Never.

There are other champions that can do all kinds of things. Some of them can do a lot of what he does better. But he's the absolute prototype take-him-anywhere-for-anything champion.

If he's your first 6* science champion, congrats. If he's your first Awakened 6* Science champ, huge congrats and build a team around him: he'll take you far.

Now, if he's your tenth science 6* behind Quicksilver, Torch and Scorpion... Fine, he may not find a spot on your team. You just pulled him at the wrong time.

But you play this game with the champs you've got, not the champs you wish you had.

Most of all, play with the champions you enjoy playing with. Don't 'miss' Cap: you absolutely can use him in any game mode against any content. I'm not saying he's the best, but seriously: he's useable everywhere. My r4 Cap gets plenty of wins on attack and defence in BGs, because even without a team, he's really tanky, easy to use and can do reasonable damage. Pick him up and remind yourself how versatile and effective he is.

My unduped r3 Cap IW is my go-to attacker on Bg, with this Unstoppable meta he fits perfectly, but other than that, I don’t use him for anything else, and I agree with the others

If his ramp up can be done quickly on a path that starts with a Tech - better Tech + Avenger - my R3 is still very useful, but definitely limited use these days. He was a rock star early in Act 6.

Disappointed this is Cap IW you're talking about, I read Cap WII who used to have one of the best bleeds in the whole game. I remember many alliance members being ecstatic to get him as a 4*.

The champion I miss the most is Doctor strange, loved dancing around until the purple circle appeared and dropping a sp3 to heal to full.

CG is still my main champ for AQ, but mostly I don’t want to lock my Hercules in case need him for other content

5* Gwenpool was my first rank5 and she carried me through a lot. Still enjoy using her

Corvus can still do things, but he needs champ boosts, recoil tree, cosmic power back boosts, and a friendly path where he can build charges. If ALL of that is true, he's golden, LOL.

I did not mention Strange Strange became useless after 12.0 ..other champs i mentioned were still being used for a good amount of time.

That...kinda happens in really just about any live service game that regularly releases new characters. What would be the point if the new characters you work so hard on for months don't do anything new or special and are still trash behind characters 5+ years old? What does that say about you as a character developer?
