The amount of time it takes to complete a match is the main factor of why I don't play BGs outside of the 48 hour milestones.

That being said, I don't think there's many places where cutting down on the waiting time is feasible. As has been discussed by others, if you're a serious BG player, a lot of that time is necessary when choosing the strategy for bans and champ selection.

I think a good compromise might be to shorten the timers by 1/3 in victory track, but leave them as is for gladiator.

If I'm not mistaken, the timers was actually less in the beta but a lot of people complained that it wasn't long enough and then kabam upped the timers, not by much, for the next beta

Not quoting the entire OP just to reply to it would save time.

And what time would that save? Like half a millisecond? It takes next to no time at all to hit "quote".

Talk about moaning for the sake of moaning 😂
For the people scrolling through it. Not for the person qouting it
Ahhh I see .... not my problem though, I scroll through tons of that every other day but I feel zero need to moan about it lol.

Can't be just throwing messages around without replying to the person who you want to reply to 🤷‍♂️
You don't have to quote to reply to the original thread. It just clunks up the thread and makes it annoying to scroll through it all over again. If you put a comment it's automatically assumed to be a reply to the original.

Personally I like the time in-between. If I'm grabbing a coffee, or stirring food on the stove, or replying to a message, whatever I'm doing at the same time.
I like to multitask. Also, you need time for the server to communicate on both sides.

Agreed. It's a bit of time to relax and think before the next round

And equally I don't have to not Quote it... I don't see the big issue here in the slightest. Scroll or don't scroll, its an easy choice. I Quote to the people I'm replying to, irrespective of their post/comment length. Posting comments about the matter is also clunking up the thread, just think, there would be 6 less comments on this thread had he have just scrolled on by like everybody else does.

Just coz one person does something you don't agree with does not mean that person should adhere to what you would do.

No one is forcing you man. You did something unnecessary, someone pointed it out and you doubled down. That's it. It just ruins the experience

Sometimes it feels like i have enough time to go grocery shopping if i am able to finish a fight really fast and the opponent takes the entire match time

Unnecessary in this context is relative to the individual... let's leave it there 👍😂

Also something I like to do and I'm sure alot of competitive bg players do is use the time waiting for the opponent to end their fight is to plan your next round since you can look at your remaining roster and theirs and plan according to what they do or what you do
