@Kabam Miike Please give us more information for the new AW Placement.

Pre-Season is planned to resume tomorrow and the season starts on the 2nd August -
But we still do not know a lot about how to set up the new AW Placement.

We do play one BG off season and two BGs during season. When I enlist us for two BGs - THREE BGs are open to join!
That can't be right. It's the same as it were when you first attended to go live with the PPP.
(I did cancel our enlistment after I saw it as a precausion so my players aren't locked in again.)

There are still a few open questions:
Will my players be able to leave the active BG and join the other BG if the participation is unbalanced before it starts.
Since it is a persistent placement - Has a leader or officer the ablility to switch a player from one BG to another?
How does that work?

Is it possible to do two different Setups one for off season and one for AW season.
The problem is that I do have a lot of players who only play during season.

We really do need more information about it. The original post had some information about bans and things that are important for higher Alliances but the lower Alliances and casual AW players do not have a lot to go on right now.

Please give us more information about it.

This stuff is definitely still in the air. I've also requested further info on this.

So, the switching in and out is a manual process. Your members can switch battlegrounds, and the officers will have to manage placement accordingly. Also, these changes NEED to be done BEFORE matching.

Officers doing the switching, isnt available now, but will be looked at in the future.

( @pseudosane , if that's from the separate discord, or whichever, group chat..) also for @Kabam Miike , @Kabam Jax

Yes, a bunch of stuff needs ironing out, especially for 1 or 2 BG alliances.
But also in general, leadership stuff that has been requested to be added for AW for a long time, but that is even more important now that there is Auto-Enlistment.

They are already partially there with the custom AQ vs AW Attackers vs AW Defenders lists that everyone can setup in their profiles (added some years ago now).
They can utilize that to let people specify up to 10 *potential* Defenders for their Roster.
**no presetting of exactly which 5, or which nodes, or even which BG. JUST whom their potential Defenders are.

Then Leadership can select the 5 defenders they want from each person's list, assign then to a BG for the NEXT War, and place them on nodes.

That way, leadership will be able to determine WHICH members are playing WHICH wars, and in WHICH BG, and with WHICH defenders.

Members would have to have some way to mark themselves as “NOT AVAILABLE” for the next war, so leadership would know they can’t pick that person to participate in that war.

These are great ideas, i will share this with the relevant folks. And i agree these are certainly needed.
Unfortunately there will be some starting pains looks like, and improvements will be made in the future versions.
