Can't place war defenders in persistent placement

Is anyone else having a problem placing defenders in the persistent placement option?

    What type of problem ?
    Have you been able to do it previously ?

    When I press the "Begin" button, nothing happens. I own seven accounts, and only 3 of the 7 can place defenders.

    There is a new “PREPARE FOR NEXT WAR” info message popup that comes up now after pressing BEGIN (from the defense team select screen). (basically saying this will apply to NEXT war, not the currently attacking war you are in).

    But saying OK to that should then bring you to the map to place those defenders onto nodes.

    I know. (I've seen it three times.) But for some reason, for four of my accounts, after I press "Place heroes" to get to the next screen, then I press "Join" to get to the next screen, when I press "Begin" nothing happens besides a quick flash of a load symbol.

    Just changed ally. Got same problem. Can't put defenders.

    Need to leave war group before changing alliance. You can go back enter def and then leave group. Then you can change alliance. Just checked.

    Shouldn’t that automatically happen when you leave an alliance? Our new guy can’t currently place defense?
