Wong - where do you use him??????

He seems to be a Mystic Tank.
His abilities give him Energy Damage healing, Physical resistance, and Damage/Power Gain.
His utility is only on SP3, unless he is duped.
No power control. No immunities. Absurdly slow build up and no persistent charges.

Where are people using him?
Thanks for any insight.

I am confused why he was never buffed/adjusted.

My friend uses their Wong in BGs. He ramps sufficiently quickly to finish out fights relatively quickly and safely, he also can be an annoying threat on defense.

Event quests when mystics power drain when they heal, anywhere you can get him increased combat power rate (there were some paradox lanes he was really good for)

there's no wong place or time that can't be livened up by whipping your wong out.

I haven’t gotten my Wong up yet. Maybe a fully erected Wong will have more uses.

When Wong was announced and the deep dive came out I was so excited for him. So much utility, looked so fun, build and ramp; even recoil friendly with the regen.

Then Wiccan came out, like.... immediately after Wong and immediately surpassed Wong in every way imaginable.

wong is a great defender in bgs. especially if they have torch. torch does not work on wong and results in them dying or getting very close to dying. great bait since not many people know this

Well his buildup isn't that long.

Sp1 sp1 sp2 sp1 sp1 sp1 sp2 sp1 sp2 rest of game. With access to powergain on demand. Regen + good or decent damage.
I forgot I had a r3 wong (undupe) and I went and played him again against rolter soldier. Altho you see this massive hit count because of his sp2 to refresh the buffs. He is honestly not that bad

dude, I am used to CGR: Heavy, MLLLL, MLLLM, SP2 fight is over.
He'll finish an entire lane and the boss before Wong gets ramped.
CGR can even Fate Seal better (if duped) and HE'S COSMIC. No Mystic should get out Fate Sealed by a Cosmic.

It'd be nice if they would move his Signature "nullify all indestructible and immortality buffs" to his regular kit.

He is a 2022 champ and a lot of the buffed champs were 2022 (Gorr, Shuri, Attuma, Mantis . Chavez was even 2021)
