I dont disagree with you. I play the game and experience these things too. Everyone just got so extremally heated over a meme i sent and that i pointed out it could theoretically be because of game mechanics whether they are intentional or not and not because of a bug. I just wanted to provide a second perspective so this didnt become another echo chamber where everyone just agrees and then that's it thats the thread. I wasnt trying to fight everyone

Most players agree on the fact that AI behaviour and reaction times have changed visibly over the last year or two. Being overtly passive, special intercepts and superhuman reaction times have been observed across game modes. There may be many reasons for this and some of it could be situationally linked to player actions, but there hasn't been a lot of acknowledgement of AI issues by the devs. We have no idea if the behaviour is intended or an unintended side effect or a bug. Your comment was hardly helpful given this context, which you probably had a good understanding of. It was unnecessary and you can't be surprised by the reaction.

Notice how anyone who complains about the AI changing almost NEVER specifies what champs they are using, what champs they are fighting against, what star level they are, and what nodes are active. All the things that actually are the factors that play into how the AI behaves.

Also very disgusting choice of words in your post OP I hope this gets taken down.

1.) grow up they’re just words
2.) yeah I’ve noticed a change in the AI behavior; champions don’t matter, nodes don’t matter. Baiting has been a problem for a while, you have to sit there and dex back and forth until the AI decides to throw a special (this is ok for a few seconds but become a problem when your DEXed enough that you get backed into a wall) It doesn’t matter in story/EQ but in BG and maybe alliance war where time is or can be key, it matters a lot. The ability to intercept is also a problem because the AI is super passive. As GW mentioned I’m not into the conspiracy theories that Kabam did it on purpose and quietly but it could be something in the game engine they haven’t even noticed that is changing the AI.
I didnt dismiss 2 as a valid perspective. This game is massive and Miike has stated in the past that practically anything they do to the game can have unintended knock on effects that they arent immediately aware of. I was pointing out how people immediately jump to things being bugs instead of considering every factor before they come here and cry bug. How is Kabam supposed to get anything done when they're looking for information and half the bug threads they're looking at are just people not being able to read Icemans abilities correctly
And how are we (uneducated in the field of the game coding etc) supposed to know what is and isn't a bug, if it's not something that's normal then majority of uneducated folk will assume it's a bug, what's wrong with that? It's then for Kabam to look into it and determine whether it is a bug or not. That's not my job, I play this game for enjoyment and whenever I find a potential bug I come here to report it (if I remember or have the time to do so).

Since it's an A.I., it's going to learn. I usually tip my cap and move on. It's frustrating at times, but it's also satisfying when you win despite its best efforts. If it's happening to everyone, then we're all dealing with it and we're all on equal footing. It's what I keep telling myself anyway, lol.

I believe some of the error comes across in the way people communicate. To be certain the learning portion - say an AI learning to be passive and save it’s special - is one thing. However, it is also able to perform things it shouldn’t (based on reports anyway) like blocking a special after being immediately knocked down. I can’t say if that’s working as intended or not, but as summoners don’t have that ability the appearance of that alone would suggest something is off.

The constant light intercepts is what bother me the most, now with the combo tracker you can see how frequent they try to do that...whether they're sucessful or not, they try that constantly nowadays and it's so damm annoying (especially in fights where the opponent is unblockable and you have no choice but to try to intercept)

I hear you. I didn't want to come off as saying I am happy about it. The only solace I have is that it's happening to everyone, so at the very least, we're all dealing with it. With that said, I know we used to have the ability to "load" the next input awhile back. Not sure if we are still able to do that, but that could explain what the AI is doing. Just a guess and no data to back that up.
