I know Hulkling is the better champ, but 200 sigs for only 3 extra seconds on that fury. Does he still want those sigs more than KG.
KG on the other hand seems to only be viable for robots at which the sig wont really be needed, and for defense, if they stagger neutralize or nullify his regen, then the sigs wont even matter.

Hulkling is one of the top BG champs & can take a lot more fights compared to KG
KG might not find a place in ur deck after a few seasons, but Hulkling will most probably always be there except for a few situations
Then again the sig 200 could make him a beastly ROL auto farmer for potions
He gets a fair amount of kills in BG, you just gotta place him at the right time, if someone is unlucky enough to not have a nullify champ or already used it it'll basically lead to a guaranteed win from what I've noticed
He's fantastic for ROL auto farming, especially when paired with Sasquatch
I'm not sure about 8.3 but he has always been a pretty viable option for end of chapter bosses because his high regen and big health pool allows for a fair amount of slip ups.
His bleed and power drain/burn immunity come in handy sometimes
And sometimes there's just a node combo where he works well but that goes for basically any champ
If you've a bunch of great, alternative regen champs already ranked and you play a lot of BGs and he doesn't get banned.. hulkling.
If you don't, then KG stands almost alone in regen capability, bar, arguably, diablo and wolverine out of the box (to a degree ignoring suicides plus herc/Knull/mutants with synergy and ramp ups).
Also, He literally hasn’t been killed yet on defense. Partially because I don’t place him if they have a counter.
On Offense, he’s capable of finishing lot of fights with a full yellow bar. And does robots super fast.
IMO having lots of dual threats in bgs is very important. Hard to plan for fights you can’t predict.
He’s also an insane quester with some great utility. He’s not a flashy character but he’s a work horse.
Hulkling sig is nice to have and will get you a couple more hits in BG but that’s about it.
