PSA: FOCUS on 1* Champs in the Legends Arenas (mostly)

Assuming you are going for all the milestones in both arenas and all the rewards in the solo event (and why not), you shouldn't actually use 2* champs in either arena until you have to, because even though 2* champs score more points in the arenas themselves, 1* champs have a huge scoring advantage in the solo legends event.
2* champs earn about 2000 points towards arena milestones per fight in the arenas, 1* champs earn about 1700 per fight (slightly less in the 5* than the 6*, but close). In the Legends solo event 1* champs earn 2000 points per fight and 2* champs earn 500 in either arena towards the solo event rewards.
The maximum milestone in both arenas is 200,000 points. The maximum reward in the solo event requires 100,000 points. Suppose we use nothing but 1* champs in both arenas. Estimating from 3x ramp up to be about 5000 points per fight, 15000 points per round, it will take 28 rounds to max out both arenas (14 per). With ramp up, maybe 17 per arena, 34 total. Those same 28 rounds or 84 fights will score 168,000 points in the solo event, which is significantly more than necessary.
Suppose we use only 2* champs in both arenas. This would earn about 6000 points per fight or 18000 points per round in the arenas, which would mean it would take only 24 rounds to max out both arenas (30 with ramp up). However, those 24 rounds (72 fights) would only score 36000 points in the solo event, far less than what is required to max it out.
The perfect optimal mix of champs would use mostly 1* rounds and a few 2* rounds in each arena to minimize the effort required, since 1* only is overkill for the solo event but scores less in the actual arenas. But rather than calculate that, the simplest strategy is to only use 1* champs until you max out the solo event (which will take 17 rounds) or get very close, then switch to 2* champs to complete both arenas.
Of course, there aren't very many 1* champs in the game so using this strategy will require spreading out the effort while they recharge. It is possible to blitz this out much faster using 2* champs, although the effort required will probably be more than double. If you're looking to grab all the rewards with the minimum of effort, and willing to spread the effort out over a few days, then focusing on 1* champs for the most part is the better strategy.
Hopefully the math here is correct: I wanted to get this out before a lot of people already invested the effort into the arenas. Corrections welcome if someone spots an mistake.
