Add it the literally endless list of Kabam completely giving up on this game. My ally had same question couple hours ago. Good thing is?? About 20-30% of the game actually works somewhere close to what it should!!! Guess we are supposed to be happy with that? Dam shame what this game could be. Just stupid broken at almost every turn these days. So wasted for what it could be. Shedding a couple tears

OP. # of war groups (and placing defense) can not be changed while game is actually in Matchmaking Progress (which was the case when OP made this post Friday).
Has always been that way on that “Next War” tab during Matching time.

So @Bman , your Ally had this just happen in the overnight hours of Sunday morning ?
When Matchmaking is NOT going on ?
Or was just talk now, of what had previously happened during matching time on last Friday ?

I know u can’t change during match making. That makes perfect sense. I played AW for years, but have since quit unless ally really needs help, so haven’t really played in several months. Ally member who does all AW mentioned it was a problem. It had never been mentioned by ally before, so couldn’t have been during match making, cause have all been playing for several years. Don’t remember exactly what was said, been several days now

It's not locking in any changes, though. I have changed it to Two battlegroups as an officer multiple times and it is still matching us with three battlegroups in war. This is meaning we're taking losses because we only have two groups. It's been happening for more than a week of war at this point. Getting really frustrated with the silence of Kabam on this issue as it impacts placements we recieve at the end of the war.
