What was the bishop nerf? I never heard that one. AA was a bug fix, don’t care what anyone says or what some random kabam person posted one time.

He would initially keep his power even if it was 3 bars of power. @Deacon had a thread on it and was confirmed to be a change because it was OP on D
Ohhhh ya I remember, ya that was dumb. He would become unkillable
They always had the option of keeping it in Offense though

    Hello Summoners,

Here to clarify on this issue. From the game team:

"Kingpin and Daredevil were using the old regen-rate lock tech that we used for the Conduit tactic, which famously caused a lot of bugs. As such, I updated it to our new tech, but after a delay to get other tech in so it would match behavior exactly. Unfortunately, in that process, I put 0.4 in both KP and DDHK's code, instead of 0.5 in one and 0.4 in the other.
    ...
    Short version - I typed 0.4 instead of 0.5"

We are working to resolve this issue - it should be shifted soon.

I'll say it again: we do not make silent nerfs. We do, however, make mistakes - silly typo! Happy to clarify this!

Could you please type for both 1.0?

I think we can glimpse the bigger problem here: changes are not tested or verified. Devs can go in with a machete and nobody will be any wiser. Till it reaches players, of course.

Good response, thank you, please look into the Zemo bug where he whiffs when the opponent charges heavy…

To be fair this wasn’t really a bug. It was a typo.
But either way, the community saw an issue.
    Raised it in the forums.
Kabam looked into it, found out what the problem is.
They are going to fix it.
This is precisely what should happen. There was one or 2 people that got a bit jumpety along the way but overall the forum has done what it should do. Good work everyone.

For those who scream silent nerf, y'all ever come back and apologize for causing a ruckus?

To be fair, it was a silent nerf. It was just an unintended silent nerf.
That's called a bug, not a silent nerf.
The two are not mutually exclusive.

Kingpin is worse than he was before the update. The change was not announced. He was silently nerfed.

The fact that he is worse now was unintentional, which makes it a bug.

    Both things can be true.
You can't just make up what words mean. Nerf is indicative of an intentional change to a character for being too strong. That's not what happened here
    nerfed

simple past and past participle of nerf

    Adjective

nerfed (comparative more nerfed, superlative most nerfed)

(slang, video games) Crippled; made weak or worse.
When bugs are fixed do you think that counts as a buff?

If a bug was fixed without announcement would you say that’s a silent buff?

Just checking if your logic goes both ways.

To be clear, ^^ is stirring the pot.
I wasn't stirring the pot. It's a legitimate question. Crying silent nerf happens all the time in here and when it's found to be a bug, not a peep from the people crying silent nerf.

Same with Mole Man. Everyone knew he wasn't meant to keep the Evade counter that long, and people had years of use out of it. All of a sudden when the bug was fixed, the arguments of bug vs. nerf came out because people wanted Tickets.

Not everyone. I picked the game back up a few months before his fix and I had no idea he was bugged, I just thought that's how he was and made him my second r3. Now I never use him and I used the resources from the rank down ticket to take Falcon to r3.

Yes, and yes, assuming fixing the bug makes the character stronger.

You're trying too hard. Take the L and move on.

You're literally saying KP was nerfed and then buff.
