Alliance War Node Placement Adjustment

So the message came out not too long ago (maybe 75 minutes ago). Alliances did not have sufficient notice to place defenders. This is seriously a BS move by Kabam. Now matchmaking has started.

What was the point of implementing persistent placement when the system is broken? Every time you make a change, alliances have to scramble to place defenders. At best, this is persistent pain in the rear and it is screwing alliances over.

How many alliances got around to placing defenders?

Can Kabam get it together already?

    By the time I saw the message we were already in matchmaking. So yeah, probably three empty maps.

    On the one hand, empty opponent's map. On the other hand, empty our map!
    To make it worse, I still need 3 KOs for Cap's objectives, not gonna get that here!

    Jax dropped an advance notice on the Merged thread about the “War Map Usability Stuggle” (aka, “unable to click on next node” issue), whose fix was going to result in a Reset of Defender Placement (again, same as when major Redesign first took place for start of off-season).
    Albeit, still short notice, and couldn’t do anything about it until the re-revised changes took effect later on anyways, close to beginning of this new war.

    Although, interestingly, my own defenders *DID NOT* get reset because of this when I came back this evening, after new war had started.
    So, was their placement on map reset ONLY for particular defenders/players who happen to have had a champ on any of JUST those affected nodes where more spacing was *supposedly* being given so that a node + player name did not run on top of the next node's travel dot ??

    Also, both looking at Defense Placement screens, and in Current War's defense map.
    Doesn’t look like extra spacing had been added anyways (like what was implied).
    Or maybe spacing WAS added, but not enough, because it just changed into a different/new problem.
    Looks now like the Player Name of the node below any such “hard to travel to” nodes (which were the Portal Nodes) now does NOT show the player name.
    (*Technically, it is there, but UNDERNEATH the actual Portal Jump Info which is under the Travel Dot for that portal node). Have to zoom in very close to see the player's name and be able to click on their name to see their profile (or even just to see “who is that player”).

    (edit) prior to this latest redesign, it wasn’t actually the portal nodes as the next nodes that were the problems, they were just other common travel nodes.

    But still, this latest change caused a new problem, that being into the next Portal node now (which looking at a pic in that other merged thread, the spacing before Portal nodes now actually got SHORTER that they were in that other threads pic)
