Personally, I'd rather use them than sit on them indefinitely for specific Champs. Especially if I had multiples.
Where did you get this info on the crystal algorithm? I would imagine that most Kabam employees don't even know the true numbers but somehow you do??
You can’t base all champs off of one. Many don’t need a high sig level to be useful.
This is incorrect. Every champ has a unique “slope” and some 5* go way above the ability max of 4*. Voodoo for instance increases his sig at a faster rate than the 4* and goes above max 4* level at way under lvl 100. So this generalization is incorrect.
Quake and Hulk are worth it especially since you have three gems, otherwise I agree. WW2 is worth it, oh wait............
If you think Quake is bad you aren't using her right no offense. She isn't top 10 overall or anything but she is very good for a Science champ.
Trash. Horrible response to from kabam, instead of actually trying to help or make the customer happy they pretty much give you the middle finger
Grounded, I am not arguing your post, Kabam has stated exactly what you said here. What I am asking is why do you believe everything they say to be a truth? Why do we almost never see people bragging in the Forums about pulling exactly what they wanted I mean there only six classes, you would think one out every six of these types of comments would be a satisfied customer, but I don't see it. Also to he clear, I am not even saying Kabam is lieing but they have never once provided any evidence that they aren't either. There is no such thing as Video Gaming regulation so holds them accountable and makes sure they pkay fair. There is a Gaming Commission that regulates Casinos in the US and does this. Why because Casinos have been caught cheating before it existed. To reiterate I am not saying Kabam is or isn't lieing about their algorithm, but with no proof or regulation it is entirely possible they could be. Question everything is all I am saying and that goes beyond this game.
I still find it odd that so many people roll duplicate gems that they dont need, maybe its just because those are the only ones who would feel mad enough to complain on the forums i dont know. But this discussion will always happen untill we have solid analytics from kabam on RNG, Untill then not 1 person on this forum can be 100% sure theres no such algorithm. Kabam stating it and providing proof on the statements is 2 different things.
Im on the fence about the subject, as sometimes it feels like to much of a coincidence, but im also not a kabam conspiracy nutjob
In general, people are vastly more likely to complain than to brag, and the result that you will almost never hear about is the mediocre one. In fact, I've seen many people complain about bad results that turn out to not even be bad results to most people reading it.
But if you want a data point for statistical purposes, I'm currently sitting on two 5* awakening gems. One tech, and one skill. I think most people would kill for those, but at the moment I'm trapped between having no tech worth awakening and holding out for a better one to use skill on (I could awaken Elektra, but while she is not bad a choice it would be crazy to use it on her when Blade is floating around out there).
You're never going to get acceptable proof of anything random happening as it should. I've had direct experience in this. I've proven RNGs to be broken and I've demonstrated them to be functioning correctly. When I've proven them to be broken everyone believes me. When I've proven them to be fine, a lot of people simply don't accept the evidence.
The fundamental problem is most people don't recognize or understand what random behavior is, so when they see something that doesn't agree with what they believe randomness to be, they believe they know its not random and thus will reject any proof to the contrary. Especially when the only way to prove a random system is random is with complex statistical analysis few people are qualified to understand.
