Kabam going the wrong direction?

After this cap commisary event it feels like most if not everyone agrees that this "event" is as garbage as it can get.
There will always be 2 sides in a game.
People that spent and free to play.
Yes I agree spenders should have an advantage because they spent real money to get resources earlier/faster and in more quantity than the f2p player.
BUT
We have ALWAYS been able as either whales or f2p to do any event that comes out.
But if you look at this reply from miike
"There should not be..."
If you play a game , any game that is free for that matter. You will always be able to do any content or any event that game has to offer. But not in MCOC it seems. We should from now on NOT expect to be able to do EVERY event/content that comes out.
Even july deals we normally have deals (even if its small) for f2p to spent their units on if they want to but its not an "event" of sorts like this one.
This event you make MINIMAL points for a lot of units just for some gold/30k 6* shards and 7* civil warrior where july event you would get MUCH more for less units. Heck 6* shards are so easy to get now the 30k isnt even worth it. Which comes to another point. No f2p can complete this event to even get civil warrior without spending a ton of units.
If future "new events" are going to be like this where we shouldn't even expect to be able to complete it where is this heading? More and more will stop playing as they won't want to spent. Sure the whales keep the game alive but if the game involves in not being able to complete events because you don't spent then what?
Also we havnt had any new or good content in months. Sure the sq and all this month was good. Doing some AQ and AW objectives but that was done the first week.
We got no variant for a long time
We are waiting for 8.3
Last special quest was EoP and Gauntlet which was a LONG time ago.
The only content for us to do is BG/AQ/AW/Arena
SQ and EQ objectives are normally done in the first week with exeptions if they get released daily/weekly.
This is the only content we get to do and we don't even get to fully do new events unless you spent.
If this is the direction where we are going then why would we even play if we aren't even able to complete "new content" cause of the requirements.
P.S. I don't care about this event. I was really excited when I heard about it but ye when I saw what I saw I just left it as is. Hopefully loyalty selector is ok

I'm just gonna leave this here:

This is what it looks like under bright natural light:
To me that's orange, but opinions on color vary greatly.
This is certifiably not true.
If you include this store with the entirety of the Caps event, it's really not that bad. People are singling out the trade in store, which is objectively horrible, but is everyone forgetting another 5k Titan shards, the metric ton of Glory, Loyalty and Artifacts, as well as the multiple 5 star and the 6 star ascenion that wasn't locked behind any pay wall?
Again the trade in store is hot garbage but people acting like this is the end seem to have extremely short memories when they've literally just gave us so much.
It's clearly orange if you solely look at the bridge, but seeing the whole picture including the sky -and that's what everyone sees there daily and at photos- fools perception for the bridge being red.
It's orange, but for most people will always be red 😉
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s look at who gets what.
Mega whales will get a near-useless Civil Warrior or a 7-star crystal plus whatever comes from the bundles.
I’m a low-spend grinder. I’m gonna get a million gold, 50 sig stones, 900 units, 30,000 6-star shards and whatever is in that loyalty package. I’ll do it without using any items or units. I also had plenty of gold to buy the r2-3-4 gems, because I can be patient and rational in managing my roster.
The mega whales get way more than me, but do they progress farther? Eh…not really.
TL;DR: it’s like a 4/10 imo. I got some stuff but it still feels disappointing. It isn’t breaking the game or anything.
Where the game is there's a lot of things in the game that could use updating. The games that last forever will always adjust to change in its player base. Outdated rewards , crystals, shard amounts, down to time waiting for things to refresh. It needs a overhaul big time.
Edit* it's 425 a day which means I only need 75 points from store
Although I think the original architect that chose the color would be amused by this discussion, because he chose the color to mimic shop red lead paint which was the primer used on the bridge during construction. "Shop red" is generally described as a reddish orange, and in part the color was chosen because it "undergoes atmospheric changes with great beauty." In other words, the paint is perceived to be different shades depending on the conditions at the time of viewing. He wanted the bridge's appearance to shift with sunlight and viewing angle and be distinctive when partially obscured by the San Francisco fog, and he observed that the primer paint coincidentally did a decent job of that before the bridge was ultimately painted.
The paint is orange, but what color the bridge appears to be to the naked eye depends on a number of factors, because the bridge paint is (obviously) subtractive color and not luminous color.
I agree with Miike that parts of the Event are great and others are underwhelming.
“what is color anyways ?”
“how would you even describe a color to someone who can’t see in colors ?”
“we have frequency-based, ie, color specific, receptors/cones in our eyes, as combination of RBG, then what about frequencies of light that are in between those frequencies of R/G/B ?”
“what would you imagine seeing for color if you could see into the nearby visual spectrum like Ultraviolet or Infrared ? or further if you actually had visual receptors that could “see” into the Microwave frequency ?”
(and, what actually was the color of that dress from several years ago ?)
I call him Righty.
As for the main point of this thread, I agree that Cap's Commissary was indeed well stocked for the many Dangers of The Contest, and allowed me to trade for some special offers and bonus supplies!
Cap's Commissary is just filled with bad deals that benefit Kabam when whales choose to buy them anyways and does absolutely nothing but feel pretty insulting for everyone else.
And we didn't expect it either. It s a bonus if you got something out of it, if you didn't, well, wait two more months.
The biggest issue for me is the bad design, and spreading over a whole 10 days period, for a miniscule "not exactly as advertised faux-trade in" store that adds 2 items every couple of days.
Some things requires to be purchased which is fine. Like this morbius for example. But that isn't an event of sorts. But cap comissary is an extra event with milestones. While this months sq and eq with the objectives was great. Caps commisary isn't. I know we "don't have to get the offers". But I assure you that a lot of people won't be able to complete it. Which means that this event they won't be able to complete and if this is the trend forward what can we expect to complete if this continues and more events like caps comissary happens.
