AW Persistent Placement bugged

Before the new persistent placement I could place my defense without suicide masteries, and then change my mastery set up after to include suicides for the attack phase. Has this persistent placement changed this ability? I don’t seem to be getting as many KOs when I do this technique now.

    If you placed without recoil masteries then your defenders stay placed. Nothing should change on them unless you change your team.

    They said that whatever masteries you have configured at the time of MATCHMAKING (theorized to be at time of actually getting a match and attack beginning, not when matchmaking period begins globally), will be the masteries in effect for your defense.

    Once Attack starts, you can switch to whatever masteries you like to use for Offense.

    So i need to wait until attack begins to turn my suicides on? That sucks.

    yeah it likely won't happen but definitely would be great to create mastery loadout for war defense
