I’m not, but honestly if I had the type of money some of the whales have to throw at this game I’d absolutely buy it. Not because it’s good value for money. Simply because I could afford it and I want it. As it stands I want it, but unfortunately have more important real life things I have to spend my money on.

Exactly, Usafa and a, few other whales will drop 4 grand a year for it. Maybe a couple hundred players? But it truly doesn't change much unless you are in the top of bgs. It will be more difficult for someone who doesn't buy it who finishes in the top 50 to beat someone who finished in the top 50 of bgs who does buy it every month. But to the big complainers with tb accounts who claim they would be in the brawl if it was skilled based, you will still finish in platinum 2 and still complain about it.
To be a worthy offer whether the 25x t2 PD should be 250x, or the price should be 3,99$ for 25x. It's at least 10x overpriced, but there will always be very few people that will buy overpriced deals like this, to satisfy their spending habit and have a small edge in the contest. This is more an offer to set a high price for PD in community's perception, rather than expecting to get great revenue from it. This way the oncoming CW sales PD offers will look great VFM compared to this. Bad offers like this are always expected when annual sales are close. It's a common marketing practice in sales. Easy pass, and as Kabam have said not every offer is targeting all players 😉

Too true. Maybe we will see 25- 50 with every odin next month..

While there is some of this going on at times, that's not the primary reason for sales like this. The primary reason for sales like this is simply that there are people willing to pay that. As long as there are people willing to pay that, it makes sense to sell it for that. You can always reduce the price later to sell to the people not willing to pay for that.
People often say it is better to sell to a thousand people for ten bucks than to ten people for a thousand bucks. But that's a false choice. The best option is to sell to ten people for a thousand bucks and then six months later sell to a thousand people for ten bucks. Those thousand people aren't going anywhere.
