Mordo Astral Evade Query

Recently while fighting mordo, i used hitmonkey (duped). suddenly, after parry i can able to hit him and not getting degen.

but again after sometime, only once in the fight, i get degen. Rest all, i can parry mordo and hit him without degen.

1.) What exactly happening here??
2.) Who are all the champs can ignore mordo astral evade and parry & hit immediately?

Was Mordo under any Disorient effect, or is your Pacify mastery active?

Idk but archangel kills mordo very easy, he can't evade AA heavy.

Hitmonkey has two modes, Assasin's Cunning and Primal Rage.
Assassin's Cunning counters the evade and is auto activated on the first evade.
However that auto-activation has a cooldown so its not guaranteed to help you again.

Anyone who is an evade counter out of the box ignores the astral evade, such as moleman and Night Thrasher (on him medium).
The astral evade doesn't trigger on passive stuns eithers, so while you can't parry attack with Doom, you can counter heavy, place the shock and then stun with a Doom slap.

Not exactly, disorient lessens defensive ability accuracy which affects parry, and evades not sure if it affects block proficiency

Tigra makes it a regular fight. Stryfe & Knull medium can bypass it.
