@Kabam Miike how many days the does leader have to be inactive to switch leadership? I created an alliance with multiple accounts that are mine just for my accounts. I was gone and other people join while I was gone. Then leadership was changed and I was no longer leader.

28 days. (is when it likely happened to you)

Although, you might be able to get it changed back without having to wait for new Leader to become inactive for that long. Submit a request.
