You might be at the highest progression level but you're more like a freshman in grade 9, competing against sophomores, juniors and seniors. If anything, being Paragon in BGs makes the game mode harder since there is a much, much bigger disparity between players at that level.

But again, it's a competition and you aren't meant to get first place along with everyone else.

No one asked for first place, for god's sake read the post before commenting.

Yes there are many above my prestige and rating, so what's your suggestion? When I will be 20k prestige they will be 25k, someone will always be above.

The way there are thousands of players above my rating in the same way there are lakhs below mine, I always meet 19k prestige acc, why not I never meet 12k prestige players with 1 million acct?
This is what I am responding to-

You somehow think it's supposed to be easier as a Paragon.
Yes Why should I not? I am quite happy with my throne breaker acc, reaching plat 2 easily and, with minimal effort.

Where I put the effort in why should not i expect things to get easier?
The higher you climb, the more difficult it becomes.
    Thanks for clearing my doubt.

In life progressing to a higher level makes it easier, for example advancement in science is to make life easier, no one would value science if it made life harder. But my bad I confused science and life with game.

And If progression makes things difficult it's better not to then.
A progression title makes roster development and champion acquisition easier, its not going to help you on a PvP aspect. Yes you are a Paragon; but close to the lowest level of Paragon at 16k Prestige, truth is we should be close to the next level of progression, some people will cross over right away, some will have to work for it again.
Again I am not against matching higher players than me, just read 1 2 3 points of the post what I am against. You guys can only counter argue those who say matchmaking is unfair. If I won against double my acct rating and prestige which I have many times against 19k prestige I don't feel it's worth the effort for the rewards.

And There are plenty of 12k 13k 14k paragons fyi, I think 12k prestige is the lowest level then.

And competiton doesn't mean always facing higher than yourself, it's a mix of both. In bg I never faced any 12k 13k or even 14k prestige players last 2 season.

The Paragon title has nothing to do with prestige. You have to have 3 rank 4's and beat 7.4 once through and be level 60. That's all the requirements are. So yes, I'm sure there are 12k prestige accounts out there with 3 Rank 4 6*'s but they are going to have the same struggles you are.

The problem with this game is that it's very easy to get to Paragon now. People have this mentality, like yourself, that you "earned" this title that you're supposed to have some sort of great advantage. The problem is that you haven't spent nearly enough time in the game to learn as much as someone like me who has a developed roster and more experience. You think the Paragon title means you're supposed to be crushing people left and right but that's not how it works at all.

You're a very small fish in a medium sized pond with fish the size of cars swimming around you.

    1. While it's annoying to place first the majority of the time, for me personally it doesn't actually have much of an impact. I've been keeping track of it this season and in over 40 matches, I place first about 81% of the time. However, my win rate is almost the same whether I place first or second. A tip is to place defenders that is obviously only for defense first, such as Korg. Then they place defender first in Round 2 where there have less of an idea of who you will have on defense.
    2. If BG rewards aren't worth the effort for you, then don't play. However, the BG store is much better than the glory/loyalty stores and incursions. It would be nice for the price to be lowered for 6* sigs, but you can get 100 sig stones from incursions each month and just doing the daily objectives for BG each season gets enough for 50 more.
    3. AI behavior will always be a mixture of good and bad, and plenty of matches have been lost because the AI refuses to throw a special. Kabam did recently address the AI issue, and as long as there is a random element to this game, the AI will always be a factor to consider.

Here are my easy fixes for Kabam because someone have to fix this game afterall, if not Kabam.

    1. The fastest player to ban heroes gets to pick last, like where's the reward and competitiveness? Ban fast get an advantage.

    2. It's quite pathetic that winning in Bronze level and winning in GC awards the same points, ridiculous.

    3. Kabam said AI is getting "fixed" let's see how that turns out.

But I forgot to mention, One thing I still like about bg is that when I defeat those 18k 19k prestige players with morbius in their acc as 7 star.

It's so fun knowing money can buy overpowered teams to nuke rosters, but it can't buy skill. I absolutely savour those moments.

Yeah im pretty sure you are pure skill and the rest is just money spending. You are the chosen one

Thanks for the constructive reply( probably the first.

I agree on the ai behaviour point, plus I wasn't aware of the new ai that kabam addressed will be launching from November, before I made the post. Let's wait and see how the new ai is for us.

Based on rewards, glory is better than bg rewards for me at the current state, I don't play incursions so won't comment. Eq side quests and glory rewards feels much better than bg for me now.

If you placed 1st 81% of the time then probably you have less data to say win rate is same in both cases. I haven't calculated my win rate based on that, but keeping the sample size same let me know if possible the if win rates turns out to be same.

I have no idea what you mean by your 1st point.

Your 2nd point is quite interesting and I agree, gc should give more points.

Will see what happens to ai.

Funny how you agree on the fact that 12k prestige and 16k prestige players will face same struggles in mcoc.

I have zero clue on how to answer those questions. But congratulations for winning? You're still on record for complaining about losing to accounts twice your size.
