Need some help AW

So maybe I’m just dumb but hoping to get some help. We are a retirement alliance and only run 1 AW bg. How can I change out the participants as a leader. We have 2 people in that bg that are participating anymore and I want to let others join but nothing I do seems to work including assigning new people to the aw bg group. What am I doing wrong?

“Assigning” people to a BG (whether AQ or AW) is just a “recommendation” for players.
It does NOT lock them into that BG, nor does it lockout any other non-assigned people from being able to join that BG anyways.

As for removing people from Persistent Defense Placement..
That is something Kabam will have to eventually address.
In the past, didn’t matter because everyone had to re-join defense every single war, now leadership needs to have a way to modify things across wars (but not possible currently).

Currently, you have to ask those players to remove THEMSELVES from Persistent Defense Placement. And hope that they do it.
(only other way is to KICK them from alliance, that will remove their defense from next war)
