Not all Rhinos are “Rhinos”

I used tech champs in ROL twice and both times WS and Rhino did not count for the objectives for some reason.

To be honest, it’s intended to be all done in SQ anyway. You have 7 Ropes per week to beat them all 7 times in SQ.

While you just have to beat Rhino 6 times so you are able to use the shovel during your last run.

This has happened before with opponents in act 1 not counting for objectives in the past. Was fixed at the time for specific champs.

You know it is suppose to be done in the side quest. You know you will do the side quest. You know kabaam screwed up the coding. I highly suggest you pick your battles more carefully in life, it will be much more enjoyable.

Already did SQ for the week. Also assumed coding was wrong since it almost always is and has been for nearly a decade. Also enjoyed typing “Busty Pamela” to duel Rhino 5 times. Also greatly appreciate the life lessons and sage advice you dispense on these forums.

Actually, I am comfortable saying it isn't "supposed to be done in the side quest." The design is obviously intended for normal activity to be able to gain the objectives for most players, but that the side quests were designed to ensure that even players who happen to not encounter the right targets with normal play will still encounter them in the actual side quests to accomplish the objectives.

Most objectives are participation and engagement encouragement. But designing a side quest whose prerequisites are strictly within the side quest doesn't encourage anything. Such prerequisites can make sense for other design reasons, but not this one.

We got 7 ropes this week do the other path 6x times then do the chest path. You get all the extra rewards plus hit objectives.

It says in any content except practice fights …. If it is only in sq you will have a ton of people myself including not getting the rewards …. Reason being is what if you take the wrong champ in for the fight and need that champ for a different one …. Like say I fight massacre with a tech instead of a skill I just lost the whole reward because there is no allowance for error 7 per week need all 7 to complete all tasks only 28 ropes in total meaning one mess up means you lose out on a full weeks worth of side quest objectives for that specific objective

I am one of the people that just jumped in the SQ already. Now I need to hunt down a quake because I didn’t think the fights needed were in the side quest. Hopefully they fix this cause I need 1 more quake fight with a science champ

I was able to finish the objective earlier by beating up the Rhino in the top path of 4.1.2 with Nick Fury, if that helps anyone.

It is winter so i think defeating any regular soldier should count as well and rhinos have different species

The reason why people enjoy using alt targets for objectives is simply because they don't want to deal with the extra that comes with side quests like limited entries, bigger health pools, and annoying node combos. It gets repetitive and boring fast. Also the requirements for each target must be the updated version which is why certain fights don't count unfortunately.

If you run out of Duels and need to finish up with 1 or 2 fights Winter Soldier and Rhino are on Back Issues - Contamination - 1&2. that’s what i used after i dueled out.
