White list in BGS

Kabam I really want to ascend champions and now with the ability to soon be able to r3 7*s what the point of taking the champ you love up only to get instantly banned by opponents just because its the highest champ you have

I think a good idea would be to create white list similar to AW, we would individually set them in our BG deck screen. Then when entering match making they would be marked as white listed

    It is kind of funny. Ever since I ascended Kate last week, she is always banned every match. Before, even being r5, she might be banned 25-30% of matches. Now it's constant.

    Sooner or later all your BG 6* will be ascended (2 more coming from Necropolis soon), so you might get your Kate back.

    I personally do not ban Kate‘s because I have both 7* Storms in my Deck to counter Korg, Kate, Chee‘ilth and other annoying Skill/purify Champs.

    Whatever the OP is suggesting is just outrageous. We can't use our favorite champs in War every other season, and now you're suggesting the same for Battleground?? LOL. Then what is the point of this game anymore. We can't use our fav champs in War and Battleground. Cause we all know we don't care about AQ. Whats the point of using resources to rank up our fav champs if we can't even use them on the most competitive modes? makes no sense whatsoever.

    Most people rank Kate for offense to nuke people. She’s an alright defender but I only place her when I really need to and she trips people up here and there

    Normal Storm has the same utility as Storm X but only against Skill enemies. So she can passive stun Korg or Kate or Chee‘ilth or others as well.

    Wouldn't be terrible to have a seasonal whitelist and blacklist for one champ each that only applies to GC based on the most frequently banned champ from the prior season, similar to AW. Individual summoners should absolutely not be able to select their own whitelisted champs.

    Not sure how useful it would be since the meta for the season would likely make the blacklist unhelpful.

    I ascend and r2/r3 champs for sole purpose of them being banned. Using them would be nice but knowing what your opponent is most likely to ban gives a good idea of what you should ban from his deck, and even what to draft later on
    In this meta I want people to ban my r5 ascended Herc because all I want is to draft my r4 Silk. Or titania, void. You get the idea.

    I almost never ban Champs that I have in my own Deck, I always ban their Voids/Nimrods/Titanias/Maws/Rintrahs/Galans and whatever I don’t have. They often do me the favor and ban my ascended R5 Herc/Fury and so on (which gets them banned their own as well).

    Do the math! Two 7r2s will not pose a problem. I can ban both. If whitelist applies then they can prevent one from banning. That is still not a problem because i can ban one and throw one round. It is the people woth 3 or more that are an issue and are whales.

    lol, but from how I understood the OP, he wanted a „personal“ Whitelist (you can set in your Deck screen) so that one of your own Champs in your Deck can’t be banned.

    I don't believe white list is a good idea for BGs.
    On the other hand, black list of 3 community selected champs every season would be fun.
    Torch and AA would probably be always voted, but I'm curious who could be the third people would choose 🤔
