I do want to hear an unbiased opinion beyond my situation, but I am asking this since I have a rank 3 OS that I was going to rank 4 and just got Nimrod.
Is OS better than Nimrod if you have suicide? 34 votes
I ranked os to r3 when I didn't have nimrod, once I've pulled him I almost never used her. Nimrod is now max sig, os collects dust. I don't have suicides, but his sp3 hits pretty hard and you could finish most fights in one sp2 in bgs
It depends on what you want to use them for. Both benefit from suicides. OS can regen some of the health lost by recoils from the constant poison on her, but sometimes depending on the fight you have to use several specials. Nimrod can end fights quicker than her with an sp2 but if they are shock immune not so much.
Neither are hindered by suicides. Omega sentinel is good for nodes like Biohazard as she'll regen. But beyond that they function the same way with or without suicides and have different uses, OS has more utility to bypass miss, healblock, apply heavy incinerates or plasmas. Nimrod is a nuke who can power drain and shock.
OS is heavily reliant on AI cooperation. If for just a little while the AI decides to go passive or they are nearing an sp3 and you can't hit them, there goes your debuffs and you are back to square one.
