Any advice on how to use him would be appreciated.

    Yes, block penetration stat focus for defense, and cruelty offense. Then after you activate your rock field you just do MLLLL combos to keep your armor breaks up. There's other fancy things you can do such as heavy during rock field to get guaranteed crit and mega damage and whatnot. Not super useful on offense, but can work in a pinch.
