Spend all my saved units (7.5k) for Hercules or wait for banquet event?

I have almost exactly 7.5k units saved up and with the cyber deals I could spend 5k units on the 4-5 gem bundle to unlock the 2.5k bundle with the past era selector. With these bundles I'd be able to R5 sig 200 him immediately. Also as a bonus I'd be able to open a mystic nexus Abyss for Doom as he's pretty much the only other top tier champ that I'm missing.

It feels kinda overkill to spend all my units just for Herc, especially with Banquet around the corner, but it's also the only way I can get him guaranteed for quite some time I think.

I've been Paragon for like a year now and been opening a ton of tech/cosmic crystals, but still haven't gotten even a 5* Hercules, let alone a 6*.

What would you do in this situation?

I'm sure Banquet will give you enough opportunity and with luck, give you 2 Hercules.

i got my 5* hercules from cavalier crystal. it was not a cheap approach as it was arena, farm enough units and open 1 crystal at a time and back to arena again. if i had timestone then i would undo it and choose the faster approach with using money. to save my time.

If that’s all the units you have, I’d probably save. That should get you all of the milestones in banquet and then some. It’s tough to pass up Herc though, especially if you need him for something specific. It used to cost us 18k to target the year selector so a bargain when looking at it from that pov.

Since you are burning extra 6 star shards for the class crystal - it’s obvious it’s a top priority for you. Take Herc. And if you are lucky enough to get Doom as well, hard to think that’s a bad deal at all.

Take the sure things in this game. One of my two favorite champs - Hulkbuster - is locked in a 7 star incursion crystal for the foreseeable future. My first attempt failed, now working toward another 400k of artifacts for another shot. If he was available for units as a 7 star, I would probably be making all sorts of ill advised unit decisions. At the end of the day - it’s a game. Might as well get who you want when it’s guaranteed.

If it’s Hercules and max rank you want and you can get it, get it today. Forget about units, you can farm more in the future. Getting guarantee value is extremely important. Banquet rewards are RNG (mostly ) based.

Hercules is a guarantee, you spend them units on GGC you could.come out with 7*s or you could come out with a heap or t2a t5b and 6* Sig stones.

At the end of the day, this game is supposed to feel satisfying. If getting Herc will make you happy and no brainer the whole community agreed he's the best champ, then go for it.

I did spend 7.5k units to finally get myself a Nick Fury (my most wanted champ) and along a Skill Abyss to get Aegon for Necropolis. That latter fail so I had to spend another 2.5k and finally got him. Total spent: 10k units

Was it worth the price? No. Was it satisfying? Hell yeah. But tbf I have 28k units so I have more freedom to spent some and still have for banquet and necro exploration.

Herc will carry you through a lot. If you can get him, he’s a pre 12 nerfed strange AND Scarlet Witch.

So kabam added nodes to directly nerf Hercules in Necropolis. If there is a path to guarantee that you will get him, take it.

I was lucky enough to pull him through gifting 2021. The following February, they offered a special AG and he was one of the champs I could use it on. I did it, I have ZERO regrets.

I value my r5 ascended Herc more than my 7*r3 venom (and all of my other 7*). He's that great. Get him while you can.

Listen if you are getting 5 star herc by spending 7.5k units then save for banquet event as that will get you multiple 6 stars, last time I got around 10 during the event, best part is it is not progression locked so you can get same rewards as what valiant or paragon players will get.

It's not just the crystal, there is solo and alliance milestone event rewards which even gives rank ups and abyss nexus guaranteed so the crystal reward is just bonus on top.

This is the only ftp event which has no barrier of progression and you get same rewards as everyone else.

I remember, I pulled him from the featured, then awakened with him the romance gem they gave next year for what I believe was 3k units. I spent those few days grinding out arena, the acts, to find every last drop of unit that I could get my hands on to get that gem.

Worth it 100%, would do it all over again.

But some how I opend basic 6*for while and hot him from basic pool

Its simple. If you want Herc that badly, go get him. You can get more units.

Save for banquet especially because of ally rewards. You’ll almost certainly get herc if they give out an abyss nexus selector like last year along with everything else. Plus there are plenty of champions you can get besides herc that are almost just as good.

Don't you know banquet also has guaranteed rewards in solo and alliance milestones event. The crystal rng is just bonus. It's the milestones rewards which are great.

I guess the best way out is to manage to farm 4-5k units for banquet on top of units to be used in cyber weekend, else will miss a lot of amazing rewards in banquet event.

Well, they are fine, but not that much better than any other monthly Side Quest rewards.
