Act 4 mastery points

Hey team, when act 4 changed how the mastery points were earned earlier this year a lot of us missed out and are unable to earn them. I was one of those accounts and am wondering if there is any kind of update on the progress of this fix? I realize it affects a small percentage of the player base, however, especially in something like battlegrounds, 4 mastery points can create a large difference. Just hoping that this hasn’t been forgotten, thanks!
