This is by far the worst matchmaking I've seen in any season by a huge margin I fully understand skill is a tremendous part of moving up the ladder but there is absolutely a point where it just becomes unfair matching up against accounts that double and even triple yours is a little ridiculous and now with rank 3s it's even worse how hard can it possibly be to eliminate these insane matches at least until the gladiator circuit

    Absolutely impossible, because Kabam is not going to even try.

    Players are protected somewhat from disparate matches from Bronze to about Platinum 2 or so. From P2 to Vibranium everyone has to match against whomever is there. If there are stronger players ahead of you, you have to beat them to move up, or wait for them to move up and leave those tiers.

    It does get easier over time as stronger players promote, so lower progress players can try to make pushes later in the season. But if you are weaker than the players ahead of you, that’s just how the competitive ladder works. No one is entitled to reach the Gladiator Circuit. You get half of VT basically for free, the upper half you can get if you time your matches to later in the season, and then GC is a free for all.
