Help with Necropolis Airwalker

HoadyOZHoadyOZ Member Posts: 259
Hi Sports fans. I’ve got 6r4 ascended Aegon (999) and 7r1 Wiccan on hand for the path 1 Airwalker fight. I didn’t do well on my first attempts with either. Any tips and preferences for these two?

I'd just use aegon and try to get as much damage in as possible before he gets to a sp3. But also who else do you have on your team?

Thanks for the feedback. I have Proxima and Heimdall for synergy, and an awoken 7r2 Shuri to round out the team.

Just did my third airwalker path with aegon yesterday (on misty now). 5/65 max boosted, full suicides, ascended. Used 40% revives and a couple of lv4/5k potions.

I did it in 3 revives (should have been 2, as i died at 4%). The method I used, was sp2 when available, but otherwise, combo to unblockable, then immediately charge to heavy to knock down.

Weaved in relic for other knock down opportunities.

    Bait his sp2s.

I occasionally would be hit with an sp1 when charging heavy, but you can't lose over 5% health and immediately shrug the darktide and can just combo and charge to heavy again.

You receive massive furies if he hits you when charging heavy (which was nearly every time) and a combo after that, would be doing 350k+damage and you'll get at least three to four mass fury attacks per 40% revive, if doing this.

    Thanks Moosetiptronic. Great advice.

I can’t figure out what triggers Airwalker massive regeneration of health. I can knock him down, but the health just comes flooding back. Aegon doesn’t seem to be able to reduce that ability at all.

There's a little Galactus looking thing under air walkers health bar. That's the knockdown timer. If you don't refresh it b4 it expires, that's when he regens

Thanks! So a strategy of heavies should do the trick? Noting Moosetiptronics warning about avoiding his heavy counters.

Yeah, he has to hit the floor, before the Galactus timer runs out, so need to get in the heavy early, or the special very early. Is he regens, quit, revive and go again!

No worries! I also found out a few times that even if you're mid special & timer expires, he'll regen. As moose said, knock down early. Once I found a reasonable rhythm, I started trying to knock down when the timer was about at 50% expired

Final feedback, all that advice was very useful. I got him down. My Aegon isn’t very strong, only sig 80, but knowing when to exit if I messed up the regen timer saved me a ton of revives. Thanks again.
