Why have you changed the format of when we can score points?
It has never been the case of score not counting when still in qualifying stage at an alliance. Usually score still counts but have to wait for the timer which is cool.

I’ve wasted nearly 100k points to get zero for my alliance and now won’t get the milestones. Played this game since the start but I’m starting to get fed up with the ways at kabam.

Can I get refunded what I’ve opened so far? Not used any resources from crystals

    It’s very dumb. Why change although probably deliberate to get people caught in the trap to spend more. I’ll just quit the game and spend on a new hobby, easier than dealing with kabam nonsense

    It’s kind of common sense. If you haven’t seen something about the 14 day timer by now that’s very surprising. You should always double check on events like these instead of blaming kabam

    a damn mobile game why would I waste any more time than I already do in game? No other games do this. How is it common sense?

    at the very least your alliance mates should have told you or said something

    The timer indicated that I wouldn't be able to claim stage rewards until it expires. However, it doesn't specify that alliance points won't be counted, and I won't be able to receive these rewards after the timer expires.

    If you would have started out just doing 1x of them (or even just open the Lesser Banquet crystals we got for free from calendar), to see how it would be working.

    And then would have seen that it didn’t register any points on the Ally Event.

    You could have seen that and then thought “maybe I should wait and figure out why I don’t have any points”, before continuing to do mass-purchase and opening.
