My blud if you're talking about the original ipad air 2 consider it a miracle MCOC even runs on it at this point. Forget about some specials being invisible lol
The Air 2 had been dropped from Apple's own iOS major versions starting with the last major (v16), and seems to be around same release year as base iPad 5th Gen (which is also no longer part of iOS updates).
The iPad 6th Gen, and Air 3, are still are playable. But the regular 4th Gen has long since been dropped by MCOC as a supported device (can’t even download it).
While Kabam's device Compatibility still says requires iOS 12 or up (which is why you can still download it on Air 2), doesn’t mean that such older devices will run smoothly.
I remember when switching from 4th Gen to 6th Gen, there was a whole new world of animations that I was suddenly able to see.
And your Air 2 has capabilities beneath that of 6th Gen (or even 5th Gen). As evidenced by them still being supported by new iOS versions beyond than Air 2.

Piggybacking onto this point for a sec. This is true even across the Android and iOS versions of the game. If you switch to iOS from android you'll see many new animations you've never seen before or you'll see them a lot clearer, smoother, etc.
