Who is the better Mystic champ specifically in BGs?

I’m aware that most will vote Doom on the overall just because of how strong his power control is, but I just feel like he’s too slow for BGs except for niche matchups (and even regarding that, Absorbing Man can take on a boat load more matchups, not just cosmic champs but champs like Korg plus champs where his high physical resistance can mitigate damage (attuma/KM?). He just feels more of a “generalist” champ than Doom where Youll have the shorter fight time.

Doom is probably the better defender in BGs though

Whenever I use abs on offence I tend to time out even with light intercepting, idk if I’m using him wrong. I tend to use doom more on offence and abs man more on defence when the immunities are needed

I feel like if the AI wasn’t suddenly so passive when you used Abs Man, that more people would appreciate them. Nothing worse than going for back to back light intercept attempts only to find the AI is turtling up

I love doom and think he’s top mystic, but I don’t think he’s been the most amazing for battlegrounds. I’d rather use most other top mystics over him (Kushala, Hood, Chavez, Abs, Tigra, Juggs, and Werewolf). All faster options that I’ve found to be better than doom for battlegrounds

Also highly underrated Korg counter in general (not this meta).
Both Abs Man and Doom are good attackers (maybe Abs slightly better), but from my experience at least, Doom is more effective as defender.

It does depend on what rank your champ is and what rank the defender is but you might be using him wrong i always cancel my heavy into specials for a lot of extra dmg

Yeah I have him at r3 but never can i fisnh off a fight with him. I feel like I m missing somthing in his kit
