I have a better solution. Make a store for solo crystal shards where you can buy revives and potions. It wouldn't break the game because it would have a limit of like 3 a week or smth. Killing too birds with one stone. Who knows, maybe they could add iso and kill three...

OP, this started as a bad idea and then got worse from there.
1) don’t put damage caps on the content where people do damage testing, that’s insane. 2) what you’re suggesting would result in revives being even more accessible than they currently are. And as much as you individually might like that, it would be terrible for the game. 3) revives are currently in arena milestones, you just have to take the extra step to convert them from the units. If you don’t think revives are worth spending units on, that’s your (objectively incorrect) decision. 4) one path a month for Everest content is an extremely reasonable timeline for people trying to do it without spending units. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
I know this is a hot take, but I’m very okay with revive farming being taken out. If, and it’s a big if, Kabam wanted to give slightly more availability for revives I think the proper method would be to shift the L1 revive you get from Apothecary’s higher difficulty exploration to the lower difficulty, and then add an L2 revive to the higher one. That would make three easily accessible free revives per day as compared to the currently intended two.

Units are meant to be spent. If you want to hoard them for July 4/CW/Banquet that's your choice but then don’t expect be able to run through things like Necropolis quickly.
