Are you saving for the next Featured or opening Basics for more 7* Shards?

One of the oldest dilemmas was whether to go Basics vs Featureds. And for a time featureds use to be the way to go for those of us that had fairly larger rosters. However 7* changed everything since with basics you only have to pay 10k instead of 15k and as we all know, 7* will eventually powercreep 6* , the way that 5* are no longer relevant. (Yes, it won’t happen for a while, but it is inevitable and some are already planning for the Future.

With that said however, this next feat looks like its going to be stacked with Kushala, Onslaught, Cheeilth, Bullseye, White Tiger which look like phenomenal champs, so I’m curious if anyone thats been going basics for the extra 7* shards is instead now saving for the next Feat.

One issue that skews the comparison is if people are missing a lot of champs from the basic so added this as a third option

6* champs are dropping in value by the month. Using 50% more shards on featured crystals at this point is a waste.

I only want onslaught so i save all mutant abyss and hope to pull him there. Otherwise 7* is the future so no point for me to open 6* featureds anymore

I know that 6* are losing value, but I’d still love a 6* Kushala and Onslaught. Depending on how good WT and Bullseye are, I might really want them too

Any new champ you name you're chasing, like silk photon and onslaught, exist as 7*s.
They are insane, no doubt, but definitely not game breaking, so you can wait patiently and by april silk and photon will enter basics, and by feb, onslaught will enter titan pool.

So rather save up for those 7* rarities.

And wait a lot more for those awaken abilities you probably won't get because you certainly WON'T be duping those champs so soon

Kushala is good too and the sig ability seems pretty neat as well

Any new 6* champion from featured, no matter how strong they are, I’m not seeing myself investing the resources to rank 5 and probably I won’t be able to ascend them too, since ascension despite 6*s are getting outdated is still quite limited.
The focus has already shifted to 7*s for me and I suppose for most progressed players.
So basic crystals for more 7* shards seems the correct decision.

If you’ve got all the good featureds, no reason to open them when 7*’s are more valuable.

The collector in me makes me go for featured until I got all the new ones. Also bring able to awake and sig them is nice

I’ll start saving around 30-45 days out from the new featured. Currently focused on wrapping up Necropolis for Valiant, so right now need the shards and the iso. Should be done in 2-3 weeks at which point I’ll start saving. I’ll be holding my Necro exploration Titan until Onslaught, WT, and Bullseye are in the crystal though.

Will still open the every other week featured in the black iso market though as I still would like to pick up WWBN, even as a 6*.

Unless I get Onslaught before the feature crystals comes up, it's going to be a costly feature for now. If Bullseye and white tiger are great, then it's going to be feature all the way.

They look fantastic from the deep dive. I’m definitely going for the next featured and taking WT to rank 5 if I don’t pull her from the titan

I know I am unlikely to take up 6 stars at this point, passed R3 at least.

I want 7s and more 7s. The cost of a shiny 6 star is not worth that many less shards. Plus less ISO to level up the 7s.

T6CC is more common these days and usually by the time I have the t6b and t3a it is time to R2 a 7 star

There ain't a lot of 7*'s out right now that I'm chasing, so I'm still saving for next 6* featured just incase a champ does appeal to me, AND opening 6* fully formed crystals (6*crystal, nexus, mythic nexus, abyss nexus) for for 7* shards. I still enjoy my 6*'s. They have not lost value to me. Many of mine can still bring the pain. 6*s are easier to get, rank, awaken, and put sigs into, compared to expensive and rare 7*'s right now.
