Disagree spamming is just wild lol. OP isn’t wrong at all, its not a game breaking change and seems relatively simple to add. However i will say simple additions will cause people to ask for more simple additions, and more, and more, which is probably why kabam doesn’t bother as it will just stir more conflicts. Its not more so a game balancing issue, but a community balancing issue since our community cant behave and ruins it for everyone. Luke cage definitely needs a little love though i agree, maybe indirectly via synergies with relevant champions.

Kabam has done this before, most notably giving Ghost Rider incinerate immunity and Iceman Coldsnap immunity but you expect them to do this to every single champion in the entire game?

Plus the Science class is arguably the most balanced the class in MCOC with a few exceptions (looking at you Sentry and Captain America). So this isn't even completely necessary.

I'd go for greater physical tankiness over Incinerate Resistance/immunity.

His new 'reduced damage from non-contact attacks' is nice, but actual Physical resistance would be able to reduce damage from general attacks, physical burst effects and Ruptures; and seems more appropriate for Luke than Incinerate immunity would be. Crit resistance would be nice too; although it's possible that's tucked away in his base stats.

If they really wanted to do his skin justice, he should be immune to incinerate, frostbite and even acid wash.

    1. No in-game character will realistically be close to comic accurate, especially because there are numerous variations on any one power set for any one character.
    2. Champions are build to fit a role, and abilities are often tempered to have a specific fit in-game. Some champs are specifically designed to fit into their class with similar abilities, counter other champs, or introduce specific mechanics. Herc in the comics does not have some magical ability to give him a damage boost when he intercepts his opponent repeatedly, but I don't see anyone clambering for that ability to be taken away. One of the reasons it exists in-game seems to be Kabam's way of incentivising people to learn different intercept methods (or ways to heavy counter, for his other charge).
    3. These champions are all pulled from a multiverse and being written into Marvel owned IP (don''t @ me about how licensing works), so they don't represent the traditional characters that we are basing any of this knowledge off of.
    4. Most people saying that something like this would break the game clearly don't mean that adding one immunity would change everything. However, giving every champ realistic abilities or making major changes to every champ (extrapolating this one change into many more similar changes) wouln't be surprising if it broke the game.
    5. Just because a lot of people disagree with anyone does not mean that they are bots. It could just mean *gasp* that a lot of people disagree with them. I, for one, am not a bot and *Error: SuirrelguyAI not responding*

Coldsnap too. That would still leave poison, degen, rupture, shock, etc, so it wouldn’t be game breaking if he had his true immunities/resistances.
