Assist for last minute TB EQ push? (2.1 left Misty Knight path)

Hey y'all, looking for a little guidance as I went from "ugh I can't do 100% this month" to "oh dip, I guess I can" in a matter of days and squeeded in *near* full exploration on this month's EQ.

The only thing holding me back now is this furthest left path in 2.1 (the "Armor-Parry" tech chapter) that begins with Misty Knight and Infamous Doom. Now, I'm not the greatest against them in general - but I can get them down with the right counters. Problem is, under the parameters of nodes, I'm **** against them.

For all the rest of the paths, my champs were primarily FAntman, Nimrod, Warlcok, or Guilly 2099.

I am REALLY struggling with doing anything significant to Misty and especially iDoom before they completely destory me with their mechanics. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated, as I will obviosuly revive-blast my way through it to get to 100% but would prefer to save them for 8.3, Paragon Gauntlet objectives, etc.

I hate Misty; I don't understand her. I try to keep her to sp1 that's easier to dodge. Quite sure I sacrificed someone there.

You got 9k units. If you think you'll need that many for 8.3, paragauntlet, etc it must be a skill issue. Just revive up if you want for that 100%.

Guilly 2099 and spam sp1, also using tech champs is not mandatory, you could use power controllers or (if for some reason you have it in good rank) proxima midnight, she reduces the offensive ability accuracy while blocking, which turns those nodes into a normal fight. You could also use a champion that does a lot of damage, if I remember correctly I used Hercules in those fights.

Misty confuses me, so if I say anything wrong in these tips, someone please correct me. But from what I understand, you don’t want her to get equal Anti Metal and Cryogenic charges. She gets the Anti Metal ones when you parry, and the Cryo ones when you Dex. Try parrying her less to prevent her from gaining equal amounts of these charges, because when balanced at 6+ she goes Unblockable and that’s rude. Stick to someone who uses Power Drain on a special attack in order to gain the passive Furies, like Warlock (who also has the benefit of being Coldsnap immune, reducing one of the threats of her sp2). Stick to trying to bait her sp1 though, if possible.

For iDoom, if you can armor break him he’s not going to get his mode that allows him to resist specials and will reduce most of his difficulty.

Why not bring a specific counter for those fights? The nodes are pretty basic so it shouldn't matter that much

I brute forced the whole path with Nimrod, FAM and Warlock.
For Misty I used Nimrod, for ID I used Warlock. I advice you get to 10 fury passives before throwing any specials, if you go for the big damage at 10 fury passives they'll be dead immediately after that or very close to being dead. That's how I did every fight on that path.

Okay dude... I wasn't insinuating that I was going to need NOR WANT to dip into all of my resources and units.

I also have Necropolis Exploration to do. You could be helpful or not say anything at all. Which would've been fine.

Awesome good to know! I've only ever really needed Kitty for Daredevil boss so I'll take Bishop out and throw Warlock on.

As for the armor break...since it's mostly *other* classes that armor break since Tech primarily uses armor, I don't have many options, so I'll try Warlock again.

Warlock biffed it against Misty. Started over and took down with Nimgod. Warlock for iDoom. I tried Guilly 2099 against Zemo to try to get natural power drains from the SP1 but forgot about all the degens he'd cleanse and then I was just rooted for 2 of his specials in a row. Future Antman took him down.

Yeah it just takes time to get those Furys against non-mutants so I usually have to throw two of them before I've got those 10 on the 2nd SP2 but it definitely gets the job done.

Understand the defenders,

Misty gains unblockable easily, so try not to block her and bait her sp1, slow fight.

Doom can't be parried, his medium is not contact, just use warlock and slowly play (heavy bait and punish) until you get to sp2 and you can completely shut him down with armor breaks.

Or just use FAM and take hits on the face nd laugh at them.
