Will we be banned for this? KABAM statement?

We're almost 24 hours past the start of the current Raid week, new bugs are well known to us at this point however I'm yet to see any comment from Kabam about them (please direct me if I've missed anything). I want to push in Event Quest with my Raid champion, but the Shield Smasher node is applying to all Vanguard tagged champions in all areas of the game. I don't want to be slammed for benefitting from a bug? Especially for content I was already planning on completing, with a champion I was already planning on using. My Absorbing man is head and shoulders above my next most powerful champion, I don't want to omit him from my team, it doesn't seem fair. I've not done anything until this point but there's only so long we should be expected to wait for a hotfix.

First I'm pretty sure they fixed it. Even if they didn't, a little common sense goes a long way.

If you receive 1250 mythic crystals everyone knows you shouldn't open them. Completing easy monthly content that you can do anyway is not something they would waste time worrying about. You get a few thousand 6* shards and a t5 basic. Nobody cares.

I've seen common sense fail a couple times recently. Of course I'm not going to hit Necropolis or anything, I'd just like the assurances from Kabam before using bugged characters (whom I rely on normally).

Not all bugs (actually very few of them) actually require a HotFix Patch Update to be downloaded.

And other ppl later on mentioned the “different bug” in his statement was perhaps referring to your issue here about “using of Role Boosts” also working outside of Raids.

So looks like maybe they disabled the Boosts momentarily for everywhere (even in Raids), or at least the fix had that affect, and then brought it back for Raids after they fixed what was allowing to be used in other gameplay as well..

Are you actually still seeing it work outside of Raids, or were just waiting to see some HotFix or other mention about it ?
