RE: Catalyst Store Update

Dear Kabam,
can you please explain me the logic behind Catalyst Store pricing? I was always wondering why we have two different ways to buy lower tier catalyst for units when one is significantly cheaper than the other. Now I see store update post and feeling happy, but only until I check the in game reality.

One T1A costs 6 Units. By this logic

5 costs 30 Units, meaning that 2 T4B cost 16, while at store they cost 20. Can you explain this to me, please?

Add: I am Valiant, so my price is lowest possible in the store, for TB- it’s even worse, how can two economic models for same player exist within one game is beyond me…

You’re right, that doesn’t seem to be enough of a difference when buying in volume/bulk/bundle.

It’s not about how big is the difference, the point is that the difference shouldn’t exist at all. Before the update the difference was quite significant, now they made an update, had opportunity to make the prices same for both purchases, but they are not. If it’s 1 Unit or 100 is irrelevant for the discussion.

With how cheap t4b are in the glory store, I would never waste any units on them.

It's a shortcut, so you need to pay extra fees for fast delivery 😆 If you want to save $, pls go to store to collect & buy each of them, what a stingy rich man! 😂

You can't use the ingame quick purchase on 6* is the only thing I can see. So use quick purchase for 4 and 5 stars and the store for 6*. T4b is still the the resource I need the most besides t6cc. Empty out the bg and glory store every week and still end up buying about 20. Less than 10 6* that are still at r1 but I still probably have 40 4* not maxed out. Haven't event started maxing all the 5* that will be a nightmare. But not too worried about it as 5* really aren't needed for arena except for the new champ week when I'm doing the basic and can't afford to use the 6* there.

I will do it, same as I was doing it till now. What I am wondering about is why are there two different prices for same purchase after the update, update=opportunity to make the price same for both. I am not complaining about it, I am trying to understand the reasoning behind it. It really might be what you said, that the price is lower because you cannot use it on 6*, then I would take this whole thread as a warning for people who do that to not buy it for higher price, because if I am not mistaken it is not said anywhere in the game or forum, so it seems kinda like “who sees it, good for you, who don’t, well your problem, you pay more”.
