Most strategic way to open Act 8 rewards?

Hey folks,
I am having a VERY hard time deciding on the most strategic way to open the 8.4 rewards, specifically, in which order should I open the class 7* gem and the 7* nexus gem?
Obviously, I should open the 7* 2-3 rank up crystal. And let’s pretend I get a science gem. Should I open the class gem first (choose science?) or the nexus first?
P.S.: I currently have an unused generic 7* 2-3 gem from Necropolis.
P.P.S; this issue I am having goes away if I get a tech rank 2-3 gem as I have shuri. I don’t really have any other rank 3 worthy 7*’s. My only other one I currently have is awakened Gorr.

I did gem > basic > nexus > titan > class

The basic and the titan are going to give you whatever they give you so you may as well open them first, same with the rank up gem. After that I would do the nexus to see if you get what you are chasing for your gem, if you still don't then that is when you should choose the class so that you have the best option of getting someone you can use your gem on.

Gem-basic-class(if you like your gem option you can choose whoever you want from nexus) Titan-Nexus

Rank up gem - Basic - Titan - Class - Nexus. You don't want to pick a champ in the nexus and then later they pop out from a normal crystal.
