I think we laid out our intentions with Sagas pretty clearly, and I'm seeing a lot of y'all with expectations that don't align.
Sagas is meant to be a narrative and artistic wrapper that connects content across numerous areas of the game to create a more cohesive experience and spotlight specific champions. I think the execution has been right in line with all of this.
It's meant to provide additional content and additional rewards, which it has and will continue to do.
Sagas aren't meant to be disruptive, they're meant to add value for things that most Summoners are doing already and slightly adjust approaches to certain content.
Yeah, you are really giving out a lot of nice rewards, people are complaining for no reason this time.

Wasn’t it teased as “game changing” on the Twitch stream?
That's colorful language. Of course you're going to present your product in an attractive way. For that matter, we've never seen a crossover meta before. That changes the game. People have gotten carried away with expectations as long as I've been here.
Yes, but it’s the language Jax used. It seems a bit disingenuous for them to complain that our expectations don’t align. If you say something new and exciting and then we got sagas, it would be fine.
But they said “game changing” and sagas is anything but.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind sagas at all and the rewards are fine. No complaints there. I was just annoyed by the comment blaming false expectations on the summoners when that isn’t what happened.

Personally (and I don't do high level competitive stuff), Sagas has not been successful at all.
My personal experience has not changed at all pre-Saga vs Saga. Nothing feels more cohesive or tied together.
How might you actually create a cohesive experience, if that is the actual goal? Actually change the UI to feed into that. If they changed the way you click to access the different content (EQ, AW, BGs, etc), that would go a long way to making it feel cohesive.
I know I would hate it, but if they forced people to go into a "Sagas hubworld" that you have to tap through, in order to even be able to go into AW, that would feel more cohesive. Have Kingpin in the hub world have dialogue like he is assigning you missions to complete in BGs / SQ / etc.
So if Kabam wants it to be more cohesive, it is not just an artistic wrapper that is needed (purple color and X-magica logos seems to be the extent of it), but also changes to how players interact with the game.
As it stands, what I mainly think about Sagas is that it involves more checklists to complete. And checklists do not make things feel more cohesive.

L war nodes.
L BG Meta.
L champion selection.
No other complains outside that.
