Did auto placement for defense in War not work for everyone this War??

At the start of this War only 6 of our 10 defenders sets got auto placed. Looks like the same thing happened to the alliance we are going up against. Did this happen to anyone else’s alliance??

    Did you move up or down in Map Tier ?

    (and didn’t have everyone actually place defenders in those +/- Map Tiers in advance ?)
