So I’m an officer of an new Alliance that me and my friend made and I was wondering what happens when members place on defence but I assign them to a new BG after? Do they have to change it or do they stay there? Also would it be better to stack up the best members in one battle group or spread them out?

“Assigning” players to certain BG's (either AQ or AW) does NOT lock them out from joining other BG's if they want to (so long as there is room available from not having 10 already joined attack or set defense).

It is just a “suggestion” from leadership. (*or in some alliances, a requirement, but not according to game itself)

As to how to group stronger vs weaker. Depends if you will need multiple strong people to actually clear the Bosses or not.
(no “linked supporters” from nodes beforehand anymore, so 1 lane is really all that is needed to get to and defeat a boss nowadays).

Bosses will give the extra points.

The other normal Explore Nodes really does not matter which BG's you do more of or less of.
The more Explore in general you do, across all of the BG's, the better.
