Whales will get everything
And the BG will be nightmare
But Kabam do not care about equality they are care about money
Results may vary, of course.
Coming to the forums to address/complain about RNG is never a good idea. I know it's one if the more readily available options, but it only opens you up to see more frustration. People showing off their great pulls, potential trolls, etc. I'm not trying to belittle what you're feeling, but we've all been there. When it happens to you, it sucks. That said, RNG is what it is... and always will be. Just get back to the unit grind & hopefully next big event, may RNG be in your favor
Here's Netmarble's Q1 2024 earnings:
and here's the previous earnings from Q4 2023:
Extenuating circumstances to be sure, but a drop of 41% revenue quarter to quarter ain't great. By today's KRW to USD conversion that's $24 million less.
Year over year they're down 13% from last year Q1.
That's the real not-so-great metric, shareholders love YoY growth.
So, yes. It's all about money.
The year over year number is more significant, although it is following the trajectory the game has been following since 2017, if you adjust for the Covid bounce. Its the kind of thing that tends to happen to games that have been around for a long time. Whether and at what point they stabilize is always the question.
The long term trend is that MCOC has been generating about 17 million USD less net revenue per year over the seven years for which we have credible data. But Covid makes extrapolations very difficult. It might seem like we have a lot of data:
But when you attempt to factor out the very large seasonality of the revenue numbers, not so much:
Six annual data points, and Covid contaminates two of them dead in the middle of the graph. Without them, a second order trend might be visible, but with them that would just be at best speculative. I would say I would need to see 2024 before I could hazard a guess if the numbers look like a soft landing or a projected downward trend.
What does f2p have to do with rng?

5 months , 17k units and still no lt a single 7* champ. Whatever it was, it was bad design RNg..the one who spend more should get more ( or atleast something) even if some guys are spending real money,it's fine bcz they have money to spend.
Per DNA3000's thread:
"5700 units for the first 7* Omega crystal
13,800 (theoretically as low as 12450) for the second 7* Omega crystal
17,400 units for the third 7* Omega crystal
36,900 units for the 7* Omega selector "
A bad design is a design that does not achieve its objectives. RNG champion crystals achieve their intended objective. They create an environment where players are encouraged to pursue champions, and cannot simply create a predictable and optimum strategy for doing so. This causes everyone to end up with different results, which has game benefits too complex to discuss here.
Now, not everyone will be encouraged, and not every player will find what the game presents something enjoyable. But nothing would do that, so no one attempts to make everyone happy. They present a specific kind of game, and then try to optimize for the people who want that kind of game. You want a game that is predictable, where spending has deterministic results and those who spend more always end up with a measurable advantage over those who spend less. This is not that kind of game. And if you think that’s a mistake of some kind, by all means find a game that does what you want and play that. If you can.
In one sense I have been in your exact place. I’ve had extraordinary runs of bad luck. On the other hand, I cannot fully put myself in your place, because you have expectations I would never have, and will never fully understand. I understand them in the sense that I am aware humans think that way and I can predict when they might, but I cannot relate to the need for the kind of predictability you seem to think is essential. Maybe that’s because I’ve lived on Earth too long and have no expectation of that kind of predictability anywhere in reality.
Also, I have no idea how one spends 17k on the Omega event and has no 7* champs to show for it as a Valiant. Assuming you bought Valiant crystals, that should be about 57 Valiant crystals. That should have gotten you all the Alpha milestones and 200 points in the Omega milestones, which means on top of the Valiant, Paragon, and Cavalier crystals, you should have gotten at least three 7* Omega crystals which drop guaranteed 7 star champs. The game literally handed you guaranteed 7 stars, and apparently you are ignoring the crystals with 100% odds to complain about the crystals with lower odds being too random.
Unless of course you’re not counting the 3600 units you received as milestone rewards from Omega. But you should still have gotten at least one guaranteed 7* Omega crystal and should have a guaranteed 7* by now.
