Incorrect Progression info in-game?

I’m a little confused here. Isn’t becoming Valliant completing Act 8.2 and ranking 2 7star champions to r3? I went to the notes for progression in game and this is what it in the picture below, which I dont think is accurate.

Interesting wording. Act 8 is the second act of book 2 though (it starts with act 7). So it’s technically correct.

It is correct what it said book 2 is act 8 and it is chapter 3 to get valiant was never chapter 2.

Book 1 is Acts 1-6
Book 2 is Acts 7, 8 and later 9

Book 2 Act 2 means the second Act in the second Book so Act 8. The wording technically is correct but the confusion is understandable as no one (even Kabam) calls it that, instead calling it Act 8

They may be saying they thought it was 8.2 instead of 8.3

Graphic that was floated around forum with OLD vs NEW also shows as 8.3, like the in-game shot they included at top here.
